Random liner notes: * I had some more lyrics for the bridge portion of the song. But I couldn’t make a melody that worked with the piano chords there. The piano chords there were just too “strong” for any melody I came up with. So the bridge kept the piano and the one part of the vocal melody that I liked. * The high-pitched part before the “Oh yeah” came from a happy accident mistake. I had the main piano sequence sampled into a sampler. I triggered it back way too high by mistake. So those blips are really the piano chords. * Street sounds in the quiet part were recorded in New York City some time ago. * The first piano chord of the song’s main piano sequence is a major seventh flat five chord. Never used that one before. It’s a little edgy sounding but it worked there.
Lyrics: “Summertime makes me think of you.” “When you hold my hand.”
